03 Our Story 私たちにとって
Two brothers, one izakaya. ふたりの兄弟、ひとつの居酒屋。
I spent years missing the izakaya nights I'd have in Japan — the kind where you just sit down and someone brings you what's good that day. My brother Yasuaki had spent eighteen years training as a sushi chef and was ready for his own kitchen. Sake Zen is where those two things met.

私たちは、日本の居酒屋で過ごした時間を、ずっと懐かしく思い続けていました。
美味しい料理とお酒を楽しみながら、自然と会話が生まれ、笑顔が生まれる。ここで過ごす時間が、皆さまにとって忘れられない思い出になれば、私たちにとってこれ以上嬉しいことはありません。
今でも時々、ここが本当に自分たちの店なのだろうかと、信じられないような夜があります。
当店はNeridah Streetの一角にある、小さくて気取らないお店です。
